ASC SKATER JORDAN BAUTH NAMED TO 2012 USA YOUTH OLYMPIC TEAM

The Amherst Skating Club is proud of Jordan Bauth who was named by US Figure Skating to the 2012 Junior Olympic Team. Jordan will compete on behalf of the United States at the 2012 Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck, Austria this January. Good Luck Jordan!

ASC SKATE WITH US PROGRAM RECIEVES MEMBERSHIP RECOGNITION AWARD

The Amherst Skating Club was awarded a Membership Recognition Award from US Figure Skating for our 2010- 2011 Skate With Us Program for having over 400 members. Please help us celebrate the wonderful events the lives of our fellow club members!


In an effort to recognize the accomplishments of all our skaters in the club, we would like to give you a more efficient way to report this to us! "Kudos" forms can be printed off this website (see below), or you can pick one up in the ASC office. Coaches and parents can fill them out and turn them in to the ASC office. We will publish the info as small articles on this new "Kudos" page of this website, as well as in the bulletin board case in the Northown Center lobby.

IDEAS: The news items can be:


• A test passed, i.e. "Suzi passed her Pre-Prelim moves!"
• A jump finally landed, i.e. "After 8 long months of work, Greta finally landed her axel!"
• An award received, i.e. "Cassie was inducted into the Jr. Honor Society at Buffalo Middle School"
• Or anything you feel is worth noting!

These Kudos forms can be filled out by parents (about their children or about their child's coach), or by coaches about their students or their fellow coaches.

Feel free to submit a photo of the skater as well! You may e-mail a digital photo to the ASC Office at info@amherstskatingclub.org (preferred), or attach a photo to the Kudos form to be scanned.
